Matt Beck is the son of Jim and Donna Beck in Syracuse In, and is seeking a business degree in his second year at Indiana- Purdue University of Fort Wayne. Here Matt receives the 2004 Barb Miller Memorial Scholarship Award from presenter Randy Sharkey at the 2004 Pine Crest Master Craft Indiana State Tournament banquet. Matt has been active in tournament skiing since his early years. Besides working on his slalom skills, Matt holds an assistant divers rating and is ready to test to a regular, he has also had many hands on with tournament site set up as well as assisting with TC work and assisting chief driver responsibilities at regional tournaments. Matt played a roll at getting the ski team at IPFW started again in 2004 and they are looking forward to the 2005 season. IWSA congratulates Matt with this award to help further assist his education at IPFW.
