IWSA AWARDS DINNER RECAP

The cozy atmosphere and picturesque location of the White River Yacht Club served as a perfect spot for the annual IWSA Awards Banquet held on November 7th, 2015.  Approximately 80 guests made it a "full house" and the arrangements and decorations by hosts Harrison Family made the evening a smashing success.  Don't discount the humor thrown into the mix by MC John Kniesly in his new pith helmet!  The business part of the evening included the General Membership Meeting announcing the new slate of officers and tournament selections for the 2016 season (to be announced at a later post.)  The generous door prizes donated by Bart's, Skier's Edge, and Pine Crest Marine added to the festivities.  Highlight of the evening was the induction of Tom Danford into the IWSA Hall of Fame.  Many of Tom's ski-mates attended to honor Tom's award.

    Don Bucher - Trick Clinic Skier of the Year 
    Hawthorn Lake Ski Club - Club of the Year
    Nate Smith - Pro Skier of the Year
    Tom Danford - Hall of Fame
