Last years event:
Hawthorn Lake was the site of our annual Jr. Dev. Effort and the weather
cooperated over the two-day period. 18 juniors attended and all had at least 3
sets behind the big yellow Mastercraft so graciously provided by PineCrest
Marine and Mike Gross. Cale Burdick and John Kneisly served as instructors and
as usual, the entire program was coordinated by IWSA Jr. Dev. Chair, Carla
Stornetta.
Each participant was given a tee shirt, which they wore proudly and got each
other and Cale to autograph. They also each received an IWSA sticker and lunch
was provided.
Thanks to Kevin Smith, John Kneisly, Sam Schmitt, Marie Metzler, Kent Hoops and
especially to Brian and Kelli Detty for allowing us the use of their exceptional
facility for those two days.Plans are already being made for next year.
