Boys 2 Slalom    Briant Detty

The B'ster was just 1 buoy away from Nate Smith's record of 3 buoys @ 35 off

 

 

Boys 2 Overall   Briant Detty

After the scores were tallied Briant had also set a new boys 2 overall mark with a  score of 3181.1

Boys 2 Slalom    Sam Jackson

Sam set the regional record earlier this season with 1.5 @ 38 off. Then came to Hawthorn and upped the state record to 1 @ 38 off .

Boys 2 Jump   Briant Detty

The B then went on and smoked the jump record by 9 feet with a leap of 110 feet.

Chase McCain

Boys 3 Jump - Chase has been jumping well and was after the boys 3 record again, but falling just 1 foot short with a leap of 143

Brian Detty

Men's 4 Jump - After B'ster jumps his way to a new state record, the next day and after  some coaching from his son, Brian jumps a 126 for a new men's 4 state record.

Men's 5 Jump - John out jumped his own existing record by 3 feet. upping it to 94

Jack Montgomery

Men's 7 Jump - All Jack had to do was land one and he would of made the record book, but it wasn't his day.

Don Bucher

Men's 6 slalom - Don's been itching for this record all year. Beating the old record by 5 1/2 buoys with 1.5 @ 28 off Don makes it to the record book - but who's that skiing behind him???

Gary Hall

Men's 6 slalom - Gary came out in fine fashion and skied his way past Don to over take the slalom record to 1.5  @ 35 off

 

Scott Schmitt

Scott was the 7th recipient of the Barb Miller Memorial Scholarship.

Scott is from Evansville and skis with the Timberlake club and is enrolled at Southern Illinois University

 

 

Dave Jarrett

Jim Beck presents The Rollie Williams Memorial Award  to Dave Jarrett. Dave has worked extensively with IWSA promoting the sport through promoting and organizing many NSL events throughout the state.
