The History of Cindonway Shores  

           

 

This pump was used to lower the water level 6 inches in three days to help accommodate better conditions for the skiers

 

Elizabeth Tynan

Girls 1 Slalom - Liz slalomed her personal best by 4 buoys, skiing 2 at 22 off.

Mens 3 Slalom - Scott upped his existing state tournament record by a half buoy skiing 1.5 at 41 off

Chase McCain

Boys 3 Jump - Chase was looking to take over this record for the last 2 years, came up a little short at 142 ft.

Briant Detty

Boy's 3 Jump - B'ster took a hard lick  when the wind put his tip behind him on his first jump. But revived himself to a 122 footer to win the Mark Wiggs jump trophy for the first time.

Blake Miller

Boy's 2 Jump - Blake took a hit from the jump on one of his attempts but redeemed himself with a good looking 28 footer.

Dan Reed

Disabled Jump - Dan was looking for mid 50's to be competitive in the World Championships coming up in August. Dan upped his record to 56 ft.

Michelle Bucher

Women's 1  slalom - A heavy work schedule limit's Michelle's practice but that didn't hinder her chance to up her personal best from 3 at 28 off to a half at 32 off.

Jarred Sharkey

 Men's 1 tricks - Jarred stood up his trick passes to over take the men's 1 trick record with a score of 6130

Gary Hall

Men's 6 slalom - Gary came out in fine fashion working his new parts to within a half buoy of his record set last year skiing 1 @ 35 off

Kim Contos

Kim tied the men's 4 record he set  in 2005, upping the Men's 5 record to 2 buoys at 39 off

Prissy Edwards

Prissy put women's 6 in the record books, being the first woman to ski the division and

 in all three events in Indiana

Philippa Shedd

Philippa tied her state record she set two years ago with a slalom run of 1.5 at 38 off

Briant Detty

Mrs. Wiggs resides in North Webster In. and was in attendance to see who would receive the trophy everyone fights for, since 1973,  that was named in honor of her late son Mark Wiggs.

B'ster had already left to fulfill other commitments so here Mrs. Wiggs presents the Mark Wiggs Memorial trophy to his parents, Brian and Kelly Detty.

This years Rollie Williams Award went to Sam Schmitt. Sam's nomination went uncontested as the deservered recipients do. Here, last years award recipient Dave Jarrett presents the award to Sam.

This years banquet was held at the beautiful Lake Tippecanoe Country Club which has a beautiful view over the lake.
