The September 5th, 2026 Boondocks Tournament started off with a headwind out of this world!.....nearly whitecaps! That didn't stop the dedicated water skiers from jumping in and yelling "hit it!" After the first round, everyone took a break for the hospitality from the Clark and Morton families who started up the grill, serving pork-burgers and "fixins" for lunch. Also included in the festivities was William Clark's fifth birthday celebration and children's awards presented by Patty Patterson. The afternoon conditions improved dramatically as the wind disappeared and the water smoothed out to an "orange peel" texture. Many skiers took advantage and invoked the "turn and burn" option making the day end early. Lots of youngsters participated in the swimming while the skiers finished up. A very special shout out to Neal Clark for putting all this together, thank you! Did you notice the new gazebo and patio area?....Wow!
