Larry joined IWSA in 1979, he didn't wait around to get involved and has been a member of the IWSA Board of Directors for 25 years and held the Presidency for 2 years. Larry has taken on the job of writing the IWSA newsletter that we all enjoy in the spring to get our motors running anew for each season and has done so exclusively since it's inception in 1991. Larry holds a Senior Judges rating as well as a regular Scorers rating and has served as Midwest Regional Chief Judge. He has been appointed to judge many Nationals and has even snuck his skiing talents into participating into a few National events as well. Larry was Midwest Regional Tournament Overall Champion in 2001 and 2005. Larry has even held the crash helmet award which is awarded at the state tournament for the most spectacular crash at state. Larry has set numerous state 3 event records, he has been instrumental in establishing the Angola Ski site, and is a past Rollie Williams Award recipient in 1991. Larry helped Fairland set up site for their very first state tournament and has been doing so as he has skied in the state tournament for 35 years. Congratulations Larry.
