Here's an update with some dates and other info so you can attend. 2 Learn To Ski days: June 25th and July 30th Thursdays Ski Ability Waterski Series (June 23rd thru Sept 15th) 5pm to Sunset Tuesdays and some Saturdays will be the club ski nights It looks like the rates are staying the same as last year. Learn to Ski $20 for participants, $5 for volunteers after the event concludes. $12 per set except for Thursday nights. Thursday nights: $17 for Indy skiers/ USA waterski member with 2nd set at $12 $25 for Indy Skiers non-member/ USA waterski member $30 for Indy Skiers non-member/ USA waterski non-member Indy Parks receives $5 per participant on Thursday nights Membership: $125 Individual, $195 family, $65 disabled/ collegiate/ junior (17 or younger).

A safety clinic will be held April 23, 2016 at the Wawasee Middle School in Syracuse, Indiana. Dan VanDyk, a National Safety Director and Instructor will teach the classroom and pool training seasons. To be a USA Water Ski Safety Coordinator or Safety Director, you need to attend this program and also hold First Aid and CPR Certification. First Aid and CPR will not be a part of this clinic. So if you already have your First Aid and CPR and desire to help your club by having a “Coordinator” or need to maintain your present rating, this clinic is for you!
Registration will be between 8:00-8:30 a.m. with classroom starting at 8:30 a.m., Classroom and pool instruction should be completed no later than 3:00 p.m. Need bathing suit and life vest for pool session. Fairland Ski Club is conveniently located at I-74 and Fairland Exit just a short drive southeast from I-465. Membership in the club offers unlimited use of the lake and additional amenities including Clubhouse with storage and refrigerator, restrooms/showers, covered boat storage, covered picnic area, and most importantly, some water ski friends and good times. Skiers Edge has been in business since the 1990's and at one time sold not only water sports equipment but also Correct Craft and Mastercraft boats. Skier's Edge has long been a supporter of IWSA and water sports related events around the state. We will miss them! Do stop by as they are offering all of their inventory at bargain discounts through March.
