Hoosier and Midwest Skiers, and Water Ski Clubs, IWSA is promoting a water based safety clinic on June 3rd, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Hawthorn Lake near Danville, Indiana. The clinic will cover the water safety part of the USA Water Ski requirements ONLY. Participants must arrange to do the Red Cross CPR/Safety course either on line or at scheduled sites. The cost of the clinic will be $10 per person. You will need to bring swim suits and life jackets. This is the only nearby safety clinic offered this year so......don't be Peter Put Off.......register/reply early. Our girls and few others did this last year and it added some fun and competition during the mid-week of practice for us. It is well run with different teams competing against each other throughout the country with a handicap scoring. I also thought it might be a cheaper way for the college skiers to get some scores posted. Phil Hello skiers, Thank you for your continued interest in the Midwest Waterski League. We have opened registration for the 2018 season for all of our returning teams and skiers. We have included a $5 per skier discount code ($15 per skier instead of the $20 regular price) (use the code “Inaugural”) for all of our skiers who skied with us in our inaugural season. The discount code is good for one week from today (through Tuesday, May 8, 2018). After that it will be the full $20 rate. Please start registering now. Each skier can individually register and pay with a credit card through the on-line check out process. We are hoping this makes registration go smoother all around, but if you should encounter issues please let us know ASAP. Any new skier who plans to join your team from last year is welcome to use the discount code as well. You can register through our website (www.midwestskileague.com). The website has detailed information on the schedule, format, rules, scoring, handicaps, etc, so please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with it. Competition will begin on June 8.
