2015 State Championships

The Indiana State Championships are set to begin at 9:00 AM this Saturday and Sunday (July 25th and 26th) at Hawthorn Lake near Danville, Indiana. It's not too late to register!!! The weather forecast is predicted to be perfect! Awards to be presented during the day on the podium at the site. In place of the usual banquet, an informal dinner will be held on the patio at the Mexican Restaurant in Danville. (shooting for 7:00 PM after all events are complete) Attire can include swim trunks and beach towels!!! Everyone can order from the menu. Bart's prizes and announcements will be included in the entertainment. See you there!

The latest news from Hawthorne Lake is that the water level has returned to the optimum ski level. That along with an excellent weather forecast for the weekend means all systems are a go for this year’s Indiana State Water Ski Tournament. With all these favorable conditions we are expecting many new State Records and Personal Best. So come on out and go for that State Record, State Championship, or PB. Special recognition will be given for any PBs.

Also plan to hang out with the whole group at a local Mexican Food establishment after skiing on Saturday evening. The patio has been reserved and things will be ultra casual – flip flops, bathing suits, and tank tops. Order individually from the menu of excellent Mexican dishes. As usual Bart’s will be there with their array of door prizes. Additionally ski stories are always better after a margarita or two.
