The Rollie Williams Memorial Award is occasional awarded at the Indiana State Water Ski Championship event each summer. This award goes to an outstanding member of the Indiana Water Ski Association who through his/her display of sportsmanship and leadership promoted the sport of water skiing in the state of Indiana. (A complete list of past recipients is on the IWSA website) Our own Prissy Edwards was awarded this cherished award at the State Championships Banquet on Saturday evening. Prissy is at nearly every Indiana water ski tournament serving as judge, safety, spotter, golf cart driver, etc. At her home Kokomo club she works on the course, maintains the jump, drives and coaches fellow members and grandson. This past winter she took husband Elmer and headed for Eden Ski Lake in Florida working every day and organizing Eden's first water ski tournament. A well deserved award!
