Each year at the Indiana State Water Ski Championships, an "Indiana State Ski Team Award" is given to the team/club with the most points/participants. Points are given for each skier in each event so.....one skier who enters 3 events can receive 3 points. It's been known that some clubs draft family members who se!ldom water ski to participate in the State event to help accumulate points! I've been witness to a certain Silent Shores trick skier whom I never knew could slalom ski, entered and skied in the slalom section just to earn extra points! This year's Team Award went to WSI Cindonway from Syracuse, Indiana. It was a "slam dunk!" When grandpa Don Bucher with sons, daughters in law, and numerous grand children showed up in a caravan of campers and motor home, the contest was all but over! Congratulations to the Buchers and Cindonway Shores!
